Hello,

I'm Marc Robotham
Web Developer

NTD Ingredientes App
React | Express | Node.js | MongoDB | AdminBro | Material UI | Responsive
While working as an accountant at a food supplier, we often encountered the problem of not being able to accept orders due to delays in sales/accounting processes. I sought to solve this problem by digitizing and automating these processes and increasing transparency with headquarters. The app has a customer-facing front-end that allows customers to make orders and track their invoices. It also has an admin-facing front end that allows admins to respond to orders, create invoices, upload documents, group invoices into deposits and export excel files.
Soundthesia DJ App
JavaScript | HTML | SASS/SCSS
I wanted to incorporate my passion of DJing into one of my projects and create something that myself and others could have fun with. This DJ app allows users to play and mix tracks from SoundCloud and has functional crossfader, volume, EQ and filter controls, as well as the ability to detect and adjust BPM. I took the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of JavaScript by building it from scratch (no frameworks). It was also an opportunity to explore a few different APIs/Libraries (Web Audio API, Waversurfer.js, bpm-detective).
Caribbean Hut E-Store
React | Redux | SASS/SCSS | Firebase
My friend had the idea of creating a business for Jamaican sellers to sell their products online. I loved the idea and decided to build an e-commerce web app inspired by Etsy. I tried to replicate some of their design and functionality while giving it a Caribbean spin and catering it to a niche audience. Working on this project allowed me to delve further into React (hooks, Redux, React-router etc.) and become familiar with common e-commerce logic patterns.
Illume Trading Signals
React | SASS/SCSS | Flask (Python) | Responsive
My interest in trading is what introduced me to coding in the first place and I wanted to build something that reflected that. This is a web app that uses python web scraping to provide sentiment-based trading signals from the website FXSSI. Building it helped me to hone my CSS skills (responsive design in particular), as well as learn more about combining and deploying different technologies.

I love finding creative solutions, learning new technologies and improving user experiences.

Hello world, My coding journey began in 2019 when I built a trading robot using python and MQL4. I had always been interested in trading and had developed a strategy that I knew could be automated with code. I was slightly intimidated at first, but one 12-hour long YouTube video later, I was coding my trading system and loving it!

I became addicted to the problem-solving aspect of coding; the feeling of finally overcoming an error and seeing something you’ve built work flawlessly. I decided I wanted to make a career of it. Since then, I’ve never stopped learning and have cultivated a robust web development skillset that I believe could bring value to you and/or your organization.
